🍩 Oatmeal Protein Donuts – Baked & Sugar Free
Are you craving donuts but are on a diet? Then this recipe is for you! It is baked in the oven, refined sugar-free and muscle-friendly with its protein boost! Moreover, it can be enjoyed for breakfast or after exercise.
📋 Ingredients:
🌾 1 cup oatmeal (blended into flour),
🍌 1 ripe banana (mashed),
🥚 1 egg ,
🥛 3 tablespoons of milk ,
🍫 1 scoop vanilla or chocolate whey protein powder ,
🧁 1 teaspoon of baking powder ,
🥄 1 teaspoon of cinnamon (optional),
🥥 Coconut or melted dark chocolate for topping (optional)
🛠️ How to make:
1️⃣ In a large bowl, whisk the mashed banana, egg and milk thoroughly.
2️⃣ Then add the protein powder, oat flour, baking powder and optional cinnamon and mix.
3️⃣ Pour the mixture into donut molds. If you don't have one, you can also use a muffin tin.
4️⃣ Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 15-20 minutes, until lightly browned.
5️⃣ You can decorate the donuts with coconut or dark chocolate while they are warm from the oven.
